BMW Flowthrough Spoiler on M8?

Let the roasting begin but do any of the BMW veterans here know of a reason that the flowthrough spoiler for the M3/M4 models wouldn't work on the F92?

I wont roast this and why; because Ive seen it on quite a few M4's and it does work because of the coupe set up and lines IMHO. But I do feel the car needs to be lowered too.

Its doesnt work for me on the M3 though.

I think the only thing that comes to mind might be the width... The M8 has a fat ass so wider the better.

Shockingly the M4 is only .6 inches less wide so probably not an optical issue (.3 inches on each side). This is in regards to the coupe (M8) as the GC is a porker width wise

This foil looks like it will work for long sweepers. Where I’m from, usually a specific part of our demographic does this to their cars so there’s a bit of a stigma. But for the M8, needs to be function before form and not bling the car out.

There’s a maxton that looks kinda cheap.

GPower has one. https://www.g-power.com/en/configura...ged-m8-f92-d04

AC Schnitzer. https://www.acschnitzer-us.com/ac-sc...oupe-f92/p4176

I genuinely agree...but I'm also realistic enough to know that the capabilities of this machine in stock form outweigh anything that my skillset could push on the track. My M8 sees more duty to and from the airport than anything.

I think the M Performance FT will be just fine with some added function along with form for the car.

You have a coupe right?

That really fits the black body colour well. It doesn’t stick out and look, well, fucking obnoxious.

Nicely done and thanks for sharing!

It looks incomplete without an aggressive front lip imo. Still like it though, works better than I thought.

It looks great on the black car. I also think it is the nicest of the ones available. On a non black car I'm not as sure i'd like it. I think it complements the tail flip up the trunk lid does.
