2009 Nissan GTR or 2009 BMW M3?

I am in the market for either a 09 GTR or 09-10 m3.

I love my current 335 but i need something with more power and this just isn't doing it for me. I have been looking into the 09-10 M3 Coupes there nice fast when Supercharged, But add the total cost of a supercharger to a M3 and i can easily just purchase a 09 GTR. Basically what i am looking for is a Daily driven 450-500hp car. I have two daughters ages 3 and 6 so rear seats is a must.

Any negatives about the GTR?

Thanks

Well, it attracts too much attention. You always see it being followed by some 10 year old Mustang.

Try it out for some time. You will come to a decision.

Both are good DDs. Probably higher maintenance costs on the GTR and possibly higher insurance premiums.

But you get real supercar performance whereas with the M3 you get a car that many say can look nicer than it is.

From the only factor you mentioned, wanting more power than a 335i, it seems to me that the M3 would probably not seem like much of an improvement except in the higher speeds.

08 or so models for the granturismo are falling around 70-80k as well.

You could always spend on some good choice upgrades for the 335 and get it over 400whp. You'd save the money for either car and retain the BMW luxury oppose to getting into a Nissan. I love the GT-R but it's comparing apples to oranges. One of the previous posters hit it right on the head...wayy to much attention. I got rid of my 455whp Evo 9 MR almost solely because of that reason. I couldn't go to the grocery store down the street with my kids without getting followed or flashed by a car wanting to test me.

Maserati GTs are really about style over substance (when it comes to performance). An M3 will probably outperform a standard GT. And don't forget about the hefty, hefty, hefty (did I say hefty?) maintenance bill that gets attached to a Maserati. When you buy a Maserati GT, you need to put aside a significant lump of cash for maintenance and the occasional "rainy day".
