Big Thanks to Ben r33_RGSport for the phone support yesterday during install.

Here's a few pics of the different colors.
Keep in mind they are much brighter and colorful in person.

I can give some pointers if anyone is going the DIY route.

Yes I'm wanting to do this myself as well. Can you put up one of your great DIY posts and take a pic of yellow at night and OEM style at night too please?

2nd pic. but the pic doesn't do it justice...Maybe at night tonight. Its actually really yellow but the pic shows more white.
It was pretty sunny when I took those too.

The App have these capability that I've known.

- Change colors (preset or find your own color from color palette and save it on new preset)
- Startup color (when you unlock, it will turn on directly to the last selected light or many pre-set options)
- Play random color following music (haven't test it, but one of my customer on G80 did)

Yes this is all true. There's 8 preset options that you can rum the color spectrum and chose whatever hue you want.

Also I found today that you can flash/strobe, fade fast, fade slow and yes beat to your music.You can pick any color and select flash/blink/fade in out or even run thru the colors randomly. Probably a cool feature for a car show or parking lot, n to the interstate!

Overall totally happy with this purchase.

After watching TheGreatM8 video this morning, I assume the extra wiring you referenced as the difference between just Amber and RGB is the controller itself. Meaning the Amber are plug and play but the RGB does not have a on board RGB controller.

If that is the case can I get a really close up shot of the boards (high quality)? I might be able to duplicate and build a on board chip for RGB so its all plug and play, of coarse allowing if there is enough room. Thoughts??
