Carbon fiber interior trim

I'm looking to replace my silver interior trim to carbon fiber and read a few threads where it seems a bit complicated for diy...maybe $800 for parts and install. Has anyone tried the soft carbon fiber vinyl and how does it look?

For the money difference between the 2 choices that stuff is a fabulous alternative. I have a few bits of it here and there and I like it. Not sure if i'd do the center console but the stuff looks better than I expected. The fit was perfect and the quality pretty good.
Hey if you want the real deal it can be had but cough up. If you don't care on the money go for real hard carbon part from OEM
