Can a M850i Convertible fit two car seats in the back?

howdy folks. title says it all. i have two jellybeans that I need to fit in the back of a car that I am considering, the m850i convertible. they both are forward facing seats. will both of them fit next to each other? also will they have decent head room when the top is closed? kids are tiny, so I assume the headroom is a non-issue

Well, the technical answer is probably yes, depending on their incline. Don't forget, the retractable top has to clear those rear headrests and no car seat should be higher than those. There is also a space between the back seats that should allow two infant seats to sit side by side...

But to access those rear seats with the top up, you have to bring forward the front seats and even then, especially with the top up, access to those car seats to undo buckles, etc. is going to grow old very quickly, in my opinion. In addition - this leather is very soft, so they may also leave permanent indentations in the surface.

i went to the dealership and made some measurements. I can see both the car seats fitting. the question is will my kids have enough leg room. if i put my girl behind me, and my son behind my wife, it MAY work. but looking tight. this is a bummer because i wanted a convertible for the fam and can't think of any other vert that matches the m850i.

My little one is 17 months old and I have a Maxi Cosi 360 seat and very disappointed… literally it is fitted behind the passenger seat and the passenger seat must be pushed all the way forward and it’s still not enough room for my little one’s legs.. probably need start looking for smaller and more convertible suited car seat, any recommendations?
