Meh, I've driven both and prefer the sound of the V8, cleaner body design and weight savings. Since I'd only get a manual, neither is blisteringly fast, and the V8 works fine. Carbon build up issues are certainly a factor though and the price delta to a V10 isn't that high, so in the end, I'd probably just end up picking on colors.
