I'm even more surprised that the rear arches are 30mm wider than the Coupe and they have increased the track by 30mm. I guess this means it will be easier to fit wider rear tyres on the GC as well  |
The much longer wheelbase is very suprising indeed. So is the +61mm increased height.
Where the 6GC still had a pretty cramped rear compartment compared to the 7er and was realistically more like a 5er 4 door coupé in the rear, this 8GC has grown +7cm compared to the 6GC and the rear compartment doesn't seem to pale much now in comparison to the 7er in terms of leg room, so the 8GC is definitely more like a 7er 4 door coupé now. But consistent with this is also the huge weight...
