Do that with a dark-colored BMW, and welcome to Swirl City. Those car washes don't get your car clean enough to towel-dry afterwards...the towel will just drag the excess dirt across the paint, and make crazy swirl marks. You might not notice them after the first car wash, but after 10-15 you certainly will.
