We try to be extra judicious as well and park far away from others, always take an end space and never those that are next to a potential drivers door especially. We don't fully trust these cameras, and if we're not sure when parking we get out and look (wifey is totally cool with it and doesn't want dings/damage either). We both have found the cameras and sensors on our Audi and MB's to be better than this system and therefore we just don't trust it. It would also be nice if the 3d view app worked so we can keep an eye of the car when it's parked away from home, but we can't count on it either.
