My attorney, who also happens to be one of my best friends was taken to the hospital because his wife, a nurse, insisted that he was a bit out of sorts. It turned out that he had several emboli in his lungs and appropriate measures were taken. He had just returned from Europe 48 hrs before. Had his wife not been so insistent, I fear he would have suffered the fates of Mr. Cafardo and Mr. Whiting. He is 67. It's truly frightening.

RIP Charlie. I wish Marie had been with you in the days before.
