Texas Real Estate, I would love to have a $1452 mortgage, mine was more then double that, but with interest rates being what they are (and having paid it down a bit) it is much better now. Its not like its even a nice house, it was a dump when I bought it.
As an unrelated side note....really just so I can vent, my wife fell in love with a house we recently saw, I did the math and if we were to get an amazing deal on the place the monthly cost would be(mortage w/ tax & insurance)......wait for it.......$7,400
and she seems to think that sounds ok, then you have to heat and cool the place, gardeners etc, we won't be doing that.....yet
