Here's a "harvest" from a brushing of Vivi, my 18-year-old 11-pound domestic shorthair cat. She sheds like mad for a couple of months in the Spring/early Summer. I can get this much off her a couple of times a week, which is about as often as she'll let me brush her. There's bribery involved, and that's all I'll say.
