I can understand the scenario, as he explained. Just cruising along and you floor it with the car next to you. Seems fairly real worldly to me  . A proper serious race then yeah fine i can understand why you wouldn't.
What i like about these rolling starts is that it also puts the effectiveness of the gearboxes to the test and shows the package as a whole. Not all gearboxes are quick to kickdown. |
I can understand that. I just would like to see which car has real better top end power. Even tho it'd clearly be E63, 8, Model 3 I wanted to see how much of a difference it'd actually be. I raced my buddy's 10 speed auto 2019 Camaro ZL1 60-130 and he got me by about 5 cars (as expected). But this looked like the Merc murdered the 8 & got about 6-7 cars on it and the Merc would get demolished on the highway vs a ZL1 so clearly the Merc kicked down faster giving it the jump.
