I must beg to differ with you here. My new M5 is more capable than "super" cars of just 5-10 years ago. And it does so at 4,300 lbs, with four doors, with tech we only dreamed of 10 years ago, all while fitting 5 people on board. A car this big should not be able to do the things it does. I take a ton (pun intended) of "inherent driving enjoyment" from that.
