I don't know if it will double in value, but I don't think it will go down in value that for sure.
The original ones have more then tripled The original NSX-R (1992-2005) is worth about $200k on up these days if you can find one....
There was an article recently about two of them being auctioned off and they were expecting up to $450,000 for the minty 2005 one
