I feel your pain. We are in the only state where Radar detectors are illegal. So our highways are limited to 55 mph, closer to your 100km. And speeding over 80 mph or 20+ the speed limit is punishment by a year in Jail, $2500 fine, 6 months without license (Loss of License) and 6 of 12 points toward more permanent loss of license. So doing 55 in a 35 zone or 75 in a 55 will get your license pulled. But we don't get our cars impounded. [it's possible in a few rare cases, but in practice almost never impounded unless it's a DWI or DUI.]

However, we are fortunate to have 2 major public racetracks within an hour of my house. Although they too are closed for this Coronavirus.
