Bummer on the Alpina as know the 1st concern was just the early trade in. Out of curiosity what is the gear that needs to be removed? My reason for asking is I ended up leasing my M850i as with the multiple MSDs ended up with a lower APR for the first 3 years and obviously an easy out if desired (my intent is to buy it but I'll also check what is available for a CPO M8 or M8C at the time as an option as well).
I'm not looking to do any mods, etc. but I did ask the F&I guy during the leasing paperwork if BMWFS would force me to remove the PPF I'll be installing (along with ceramic coating). He said "no" but I know his sole goal was to get me to execute the lease so not sure if that is the correct answer or not.
