I made a claim to the VA but at best, all they will do is give me a monthly benefit check, which will do nothing to cure my chronic kidney disease. I'm the only one in our family to have CKD - no family history whatsoever.

So how do I deal with this news? Well, I've had a good life. Some of my buddies and classmates didn't live past age 20.
Sorry to hear this 3.0L. My wife has kidney disease as well. Just asked her and she said it was stage 2, though I thought it was worse than that. Can it get better?
