I think Toyota Lexus and Mazda top reliability charts, but Porsche isn't that bad either, Diesel is probably the most reliable of them without the air suspension. As far as maintenance, I think it will be alright, I have many Indy shops around, oil change should be $100 bucks it's a regular VW engine, can probably service it at local Audi dealer as well. Sometimes I service my Lexus at Toyota, last time plugs were half the cost vs Lexus

My use, just a nice SUV to carry a kid with stroller definitely can't be on the slow side too. I wouldn't even consider Mazda, but new 2.5t engine should be good enough for me. I would have to be honest that the only thing that stopping me from buying Mazda is the fact that all old farts driving it and it's everywhere, where as Cayenne Diesel I can't even find in my area for a reasonable price.
