so my electric smart car lease is up in july. i love the damn car, but i'm trying to negotiate the same deal ($1k down, $86/mo, 10k miles, 36mo) and they are playing hardball and don't want to do the same deal.
that said, i'm looking at a lot of things and have an open mind.
my needs- reliable, cheap, fun. i've grown fond of the weirdness of the smart car.
i'm looking at pre-'97 diesels, pre-'75 economy cars, electric (my commute is 45 miles). no motorcycles. a toyota 22re pickup seems appealing. also saw a bmw 524 turbo diesel (
