So would you rather have your M6 GC or the M550 (price independent)? Now assume both have warranties and both don't have any repair issues. Still the same response?

You mean if both were theoretically new right now today? I'd rather have the M6 GC because it's better looking and much more exclusive.
However, if you mean would I rather have a used M6 GC over a new M550 today (assuming no warranty issues).....then no. I like the digital dashboard (which the normal 6 had but not the M6). I also like the ambient lighting (again, the 6 series had one color.....my CLS I had years before that even had different colors). The M550 has all of these and I don't feel I've lost power versus the M6. Obviously the X-Drive is needed in Wisconsin, too.
No doubt I loved the exhaust sound of the M6 better.....even though M exhausts have always been too muted for me (with exception of V10 M6 I had).
