I think part of the issue is that people keep on trying to compare these large coupes to 911s for some reason. They really need to be considered a cheaper option than a S coupe or DBS and even a Continental GT. The M6 was always much more capable around a track than those cars and I suspect the M8 will continue this.
The DBS Superleggera and the Ferrari GTC4 are a bit more special and sporty but they are a lot more expensive.
