These are reliable and great cars. We just drove 2,610 miles round trip from Boulder, CO to Paso Robles and were very comfortable.

One thing I would make sure to check out are the integrity of the rims. They are 20" and depending on where the vehicle has lived, potholes will bend/damage them and impact the ride.

Pull the vehicle's service records, but maintenance is included for the first 3 years/36K miles so it should have received all of its scheduled service. Otherwise, mechanically, I can't really think of anything in particular to check for.

The B&W sound system is awesome btw. And if you're looking for a convertible, it would be nice if it came equipped with the neck warmers in the seats (the one on BAT does not have this) but I wouldn't consider this a deal breaker either. Oh, and make sure it has the wind deflector/baffle thingy. This is removable, - you can see it in place on picture 15 on the BAT listing.
