I have had the F90 and now the M8 CE and while I never used the M5 massaging option I do feel the M8 seat is just a bit more sporty and less forgiving- there is no seat in the universe better than my girl at the all night neon sign 50 dollar to make you holla massage parlor.
Oh wait, we are talking about car seats; the best massaging seat Ive owned was in my RS7 Performance with the Comfort Seat Option (3k). Other than that Ive never used the option in any of my cars.

I for one used them everyday in my 5s and AMGs. The AMG's were more aggressive than BMW's seats but both helped make long journeys a little better.
That said, I drove the M8 3,500 miles from Seattle to Orlando without them and managed just fine.
So everyone's takeaway from this and many/most of my posts is that I contribute very little of any use.
