I truly admire your principles and your determination (and your technical expertise), but I wonder what would have happened if you had returned to the dealer the very next day and said, 'Hey, wait a minute. This thing is missing a key component. Sell [lease] me another one right now, charge me a little more for it. You'll have a very happy and loyal customer, and I'll praise you ever-more to BMW and everyone everywhere on social media."
