Well there is a huge difference in straight pipping to a quality exhaust note..... For me I like to hear the engine it is how I connect and know when to shift etc... To me its also apart of the soul of a vehicle is the sound it makes is very unique from one ride to another.
I don't think its age I think its how you make the sound makes the difference.
