I've yet to sample an ICE car under $100k that is as smooth at high revs (>8000rpm) than from a 13b Rotary. Compared to pistons, this thing feels like... "double cream".

It has the characteristic of the sporty handling between S2000 with BMW 3-series comfort. In a word - sublime.
I replaced my S54 M Roadie years ago with RX8 due to starting a family and not wanting to compromise on driving thrill and keep doing Solo IIs. Thought that I will replace it one day. 13 years and many BMWs and WRXs later... the RX8 still remains.
