It's good hearing that it wasn't anything overly complicated. Of course that can happen to any car. I am positively surprised, that while not an issue (better so!), the dealer did not play "tricks" with regard to your JB4 but behaved professionally and rightfully so.
As elementary as it sounds, make sure you do chase the tow service for the damage they did as this is a clear case (in your favor)!
