She's mechanically sound and the tow company agreed to pay out-of-pocket for the CF diffuser parts and labor. However, that money hasn't materialized yet. I remain optimistic (perhaps naively). |

A short on the starter. They asked if the JB4 was drawing power while the engine was shut off. I explained the connections and they agreed not that. They ordered a new starter. Once it arrived, they found the wiring short while starting the install of it... and the new one was ultimately unnecessary.
The new CF pieces are less than I thought: ~$1,200 installed. |
Ahh I c. Glad it worked out.
Hopefully you get the $$$ for the cf diffuser soon.
