It’s not a constant problem for me - sat-radio reception is fine most of the time. But I find that the XM antenna - buried inside the M850 - is less able to overcome overhanging trees and similar obstructions than it is on other vehicles.
Given the various challenges of producing satellite radio transmission and reception - and the tiny margins of error - I can’t imagine what they were thinking when they decided on that placement of the antenna.

Is there anyway you can think of to improve it? It's really awful under trees, constantly going out.
