I looked at the other interpretation on Flickr and this one is way more dramatic. I particularly like how this emphasizes the sun-star more. That 16-35mm is famous for its sun-star.
I'm generally a realist, but I see the value of this processing. No one would buy that other interpretation (okay, maybe your mother), but I can see where there'd be interest in this version.
