Though you might be interested in this, according to this article the M8 sound is different

That is the N63 V8 found in the M850i. & to me that sounds better than the Normal ///M S63 V8 engine found in the M5 & M8. There are a few videos of the M8 comp reving and I can tell you it sounds exactly the same as a M5 competition |
Love the car but not the exhaust notes, especially the crackling in sport mode. I'll look into options for aftermarket exhausts once I have the car.
