Here it is, the next generation BMW 6 Series. Or, is it the 8 Series?
There's some conflicting speculation regarding the future (or lack thereof) for the 6 Series Coupe.
A recent report claims that the 6 Series coupe will be moved upmarket and renamed the 8 Series Coupe to do battle with Mercedes' S-Class Coupe, while others say that the 6 Series Coupe will live on. BMW insider, Scott26, claims that there will be
both a 6 Series and 8 Series coupe.
Whatever badge it eventually wears, it's looking long and sleek, with design overtones from BMW's
Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe concept.
