I've done it multiple times. A broker is going to find a company for you based on locations and date of transport. From there, you can do some only research and that company should have reviews. I have had actually better luck with smaller companies and more problems with the bigger transport companies.

Also have had brokers promise me one thing, book a company and then after my car is on the transport, the company refuses to deliver the car per the contract (i.e. a lot farther away for the pickup vice local). That had taken multiple angry phone calls to get fixed. But again, the larger companies tend not to give a shit about you as they have more moving parts to deal with.
