At this point I am thinking of contacting corporate to start reimbursing me something for the forced non-use of the car. Record summer here; wife will not touch the car which she really likes.

Absolutely agree on the BMW compensation for the lack of an ability to use the vehicle due to the A/C issues during the summer months. In fact unless you are absolutely tied to the car this would fall under the lemon law and ultimately they'll have to buy the car back.
