My SA called me today, saying it might be hardware after all (like everyone else) instead of software.
Now they have a boatload of BMW models with the same issues, including another M8 cab with 270 miles on it.
Will bring it in on Thursday where they will inspect the cooling fluid for metal shavings.
Our cars AC does work from time to time...
Either way, it appears that this will be another massive, costly campaign for them...
At this point I am thinking of contacting corporate to start reimbursing me something for the forced non-use of the car. Record summer here; wife will not touch the car which she really likes.
