I know it works and runs fine.
I know plenty of people with 2018 cars running the 07.2020 software.
It's just that on my car, for some reason, the dealership have decided I can't have it!

Very frustrating and sorry to hear. It was a bit to get my dealer to update as well. Fortunately I had CarPlay issues with it dropping out and I managed to convince them to update it. Wasn't easy.
