Until she had this issue I wasn't even aware that there a control on the seat that raises this up and down manually! I believe once it is set it will stay there for the passenger. Move switch 3 straight up and down to control it.

Thanks for that. But the headrest always hovers around 1 cm from the top of the chair. It wont go completely flat/flush. My suspicion is to protect it from the potential heat from the air scarf |
I believe this is correct, but I'm too tall to have it all the way down. my wife and I keep it up at max height and my daughter rides in the back.
I'll try to check it on my convertible next time, but I think you're right the neck warmers keep it up a bit.
