Not being flippant but what do you mean by real world purpose? A true track car to rule the weekend circuits vs a high performance daily driver to rule the streets during a commute? The real world purpose of any car is transportation from point A to point B and can be satisfied by the hundreds if not thousands of possibilities on the market.
