I’ll never forget a friend of mine, who traded in (truly) a Z1 for an M6 a few years ago. He paid £94k for the M6, went to trade it in 3 years later and they offered him less than £30k and he was mortified. I still take the pi55 out of him, imagine the value of the Z1 now.
It’s not unusual though, I bought an ex-demo 911 carrera 2 about 20 years ago, paid £75k for it, traded in in 2 years later for £34k, those dealers have gotta keep their margins
the car retailed for £50k
