The car may have been made for it, the roads are not.

With regards to the comments about people jumping into the flames to pull the victims out....while this is a noble thought, coming upon a scene like this is almost an unreal experience. Most people can't properly even come to grips with the reality of what is happening, let alone jump into a heap of burning flames.

A lot of cars today are simply getting too fast for public roads. And the road they were on didn't even look like an empty deserted type of road. It appears to be in a developed suburban area.

Tragic in many ways.
