That sounds a bit optimistic
I assume by "optimistic" you meant 0.1 second difference between M8 and M8 GC

Based on base model spec of M8 on BMWUSA website:

Power to weight ratio of M8 Coupe CP is 0.1437 hp/lb
Power to weight ratio of M8 Coupe is 0.1397 hp/lb
Power to weight ratio of M8 GC CP is 0.1377 hp/lb
Power to weight ratio of M8 GC is 0.1339 hp/lb

So with about 0.006 hp/lb difference between Coupe and Gran Coupe I dont expect more than 0.1 second difference on 0-60.
For higher speeds like 0-160 then aerodynamic and friction factors will take the place and Coupe must be slightly quicker than GC due to weight and shape

Very close

Thanks for posting ‼️
0-60 = 2.59s with just a JB4 on pump
1/4 mile = 10.4s @132mph
... otherwise stock.

She's fat.
She's pretty.
She's family-capable.
She's also fu#kin' fast enough to show her fat, pretty, family-capable arse to a Lambo or whatnot at the dragstrip.

I thank you and goodnight!
