992 - Combination of an excellent platform with less weight.
You can overcome weight with traction and power but then there are plain physics on a track.
I still don't see that dinging the M8 other than their marketing dept came up with these BS comparisons.
This car was not designed to compete with the 911 but the S-Class coupe and other Big GT bruisers.
I think the BMW performs exceptionally well for its weight and size. |
Agree. It has great performance for a big heavy GT car that's for sure! Great car if that's what you're looking for.
I never would cross shop a M8 and 911 they're nothing alike.
Some have recently compared them on this board and I always contended they're not competitors and feel completely different, although some have cross shopped them. I didn't cross shop them
