The Race Chip makes a huge difference and I think it’s worth it. I have it on two cars (16 X5M, 21 M5C) and I’m going to add it to the M8C Vert that I just picked up. I forgot how much of a difference it makes until I picked up the M8 this past week. I’ve always run 93+ fuel and map 7. The only thing I am careful with is the X5M because the half-shafts can be an issue when pushing it from a stop. My only other mod on the M5 and M8 is the M performance exhaust.
Edit: Well, after typing that up I should mention on the M5 I have all the intake mods as well…Dinan & Venturi which also helped.
