I'm assuming the pump would be in the tank and this sounds like it is in the engine bay, and way louder than any fuel pump I've heard.
It almost sounds like the fan or belt or something similar is buzzing. But I'll have to wait til I can start it up w/ the hood open to try and narrow that down.
