Story goes, I was so close that I considered taking off the 2.0x teleconverter. I couldn't back up because of a lake. I thought, "If I take the lens off, he'll fly while the camera is apart." So I hung on and battled to get him in the frame. As you might guess, his wings are chopped off in the full extension take-off shot, but I got this. Only cropped to change aspect ration to 5:4.
