Not as bad as they seem? Even oil changes are like $350+ on most of the Porsches! I think our first service for the Macan was ~$350-370 (she wouldn't let me do the service myself). I believe the 2nd service runs over $600 for basic items. If you can go a smaller indy shop you could save some money, but overall they're still higher than most MP brands.

Honestly I don't understand why so many people like the older generation Cayenne (<2018 MY). We had a 2017 Cayenne Diesel as a loaner last year and I was not impressed at all. Felt like an old chassis and the diesel was rough.

I do agree they're not really comparable tho. There's things each of these vehicles do well and not so well. I think the OP would have to provide more information about use before giving a proper suggestion.
