New GT500s have stickers ranging from around 90k up to 130k, and I've seen one for over 150. If I search for new M8s, I'm currently seeing one for 140 something. My point is that, the price difference between the GT500 and M8 isn't as much as you think. Sticker price depends on how you option them, but this is always the case. Also consider that BMW often offers decent loyalty credits. I'm not sure if Ford would do that for a GT500. If anything dealers would likely be marking them up during normal times.

The GT500 makes a compelling case regardless though.
Agreed that real world right now, these might cost about the same.

I picked up the M8 pictured here beginning of Nov with a cap cost just over $100k USD, which is about what these Mustangs are marked up in SoCal. I can't confirm what they actually sell for.

The M8 is a porker. I'm sure the stang is a lot more fun to drive.
I'm glad you're sure of that. Perhaps you should've applied that level of certainty to your purchase. Well done.

PS: I'd love to see one of your own pics (vs. this stock footage)... it's such a lovely color—we'd all be interested. Please post some. Perhaps one with your hand in a thumbs-down posture in front of the gauge cluster to signify your dissatisfaction. Like this but the opposite.
U can go to my other posts in this forum to see my M8 in my driveway and garage parked next to my cars that are also more fun to drive.
All good here, chief—burden !=mine.
Hanging out with my cheeky brit friends i'm usually good at spotting sarcasm but seemed like you didn't like my assessment of the M8. It is heavy but it seems like you are coming from larger cars and I'm coming from smaller cars so we are going to have much different perspectives.
Actually, I'd say this was all me—I leapt to a conclusion that I just learned was quite wrong. That leap being that you were yet another full-of-shit troll making unfounded claims and drawing inflammatory comparisons. As it turns out, I am 100% the ass in this assumption and happy(ish ) to own it... apologies.

I have zero issues with informed opinions whether they echo mine or otherwise. I do, however, reserve the right to my sarcastic ridicule as I see fit.
