The M8c isn't a drag car exactly, but the Taycan Turbo S most certainly is. Having 100% of your torque at 0 RPM fits the needs of a drag car very well.
And as already mentioned, the majority of wizzing contests between fast cars are done from a red light, followed by a Highway roll.
