It looks competitive on price (with the carbon brakes, more carbon fiber, more powerful engine), but the M3 starts 16.000 € lower, I'm not sure about its success at this price. However, modding an M3 after purchase will easily cost 16.000 € (but not upfront), while the Alfa doesn't look like it needs any mods
